Found in southwest Western Australia in Jarrah forests and granite rock at elevations of 50 to 300 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized cold growing terrestrial or lithophyte with a single, reddish above, purplish beneath, terete leaf that blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, 2 to 4.8" [5 to 12 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence
