Common Name The Epiphytic Eulophia
Flower Size 1.4" [3.5 cm] long
Found in southcentral and south eastern Madagascar on palm tree trunks at elevations of sea level to 600 meters as a large sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an elongate, creeping rhizome giving rise to non-pseudobulbous, cylindrical stems carrying thin textured leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on an erect, shorter than the leaves, few flowered inflorescence.
