Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in the western Himalayas, Chinese Himalayas, Assam, India, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam at elevations around 670 to 1900 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing terrrestrial with oblong tubers giving rise to an erect, stout stem with 1 to several, basal, tubular sheaths carrying 4 to 6+, ligulate-oblong to lanceolate, acute leaves and several amplexicaul, narrowly elliptic to lanceolate, acute, basaly clasping, sterile bracts above, that blooms in the summer on an erect, 2 to 3.2" [5 to 8 cm] long, laxly 4 to 7 flowered inflorescence with foliaceous, narrowly oblong-lanceolate, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying large white flowers.
