Full shade CoolTo Cold LATESummer EARLIER Fall

Common Name The Straight Sepal Pelexia

Flower Size 3/8" [9mm]

Found in southeastern and southern Brazil as a small to medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial terrestrial with a single basal, narrowly elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later summer and earlier fall on an erect, 14" [35 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence with tubular, long-acute, basally clasping bracts and langer than the ovary floral bracts.

One reference I have shows a different species so use with caution, although I do trust Dalton's judgement on Brazilian species.
