Common Name The Itatiaya Pelexia [a Mountain In southeastern Brazil]

Found in southeastern Brazil as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped by 2 basal, linear-elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves and another shorter similar one below the midddle that blooms in the late summer and earlier fall on a terminal, erect, 4" [10 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with 3, close, tubular, acute bracts and as long as the flower floral bracts.
