Common Name or Meaning The Laminate Pelexia

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo and Parana states of Brazil at elevations around 1000 to 1250 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial or lithophyte with a few basal, lanceolate-ligulate, gradually attenuate into the base leaves that blooms in the fall on terminal, erect, to 16" [40 cm] long, rachis 1.6" [4 cm], 5 to 7 flowered inflorescence with erect-patent, lanceolate, acuminate, lower down longer than the ovary, higher up much shorter than the ovaries floral bracts.
