Found in Colombia and Venezuela as a small sized, terrestrial orchid with an erect stem enveloped partially by narrowly lanceolate, acute sheaths and carrying lanceolate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, channeled, petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, terminal, 4" [10 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with linear, acute, longer than the ovary floral bracts.
