Common Name The Orobanche-Like Pelexia [refers to the plant resembling a plant from the genus Orobanche]

Found in eastern Brazil as a small sized, warm growing terrestrial orchid with leaves that are not present at blooming and have not been seen but it blooms in the later spring on a terminal, erect, 4.8 to 8.8" [12 to 22 cm] long, few to many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, margins ciliate, acuminate floral bracts.
