Common Name or Meaning The Long Stemmed Pennilabium
Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm] long
Found in Sumatra in montane forests at elevations of 1800 to 2400 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with long, slender, pendulous, apically upturned stems carrying several, lanceolate, spreading, basally twisted, narrowing apically and very unequally and obtusely bilobed apically leaves that blooms on usually two, superimposed, angular below becoming quadrangular and zigzag above, to 4.6" [11.5 cm] long, to 20+ flowered inflorescence with in 2 rows, spreading, triangular, apiculate, denticulated margins bracts
J.J.Smith states the the elongate stem is a diagnostic trait.
