Common Name The Yunnan Pennilabium - In China Jin Chun Lan

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in south Yunnan province of China and Taiwan on tea trees at elevations around 1300 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with an erect stem carrying 3 to 4, oblong, acute and unequally bilobed, slightly twisted base leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a basal, more or less pendulous, to 1.6" [4 cm] long, flattened rachis, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with distichous, ovate-triangular floral bracts.
