Found in southern India at elevations of 1500 to 2000 meters as a small to just medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying leaves that blooms in the summer on a 2 to 5" [5 to 10 cm] long, lax, several flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute, longer than the flowers floral bracts.
