Found in Chang Mai Thailand in grasslands and exposed limestone crevasses at elevations around 1500 to 2000 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial with 2 to 3, cauline, scattered along the stem, lanceolate-linear, acute, mucronate leaves grading into none to 3, erect, linear-lanceolate, acuminate sterile bracts leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an erect, glabrous, 3 to 6.4” [7.5 to 16 cm] long, semi-dense to lax, 8 to 20 flowered inflorescence with a 1.2 to 1.8” [3 to 4.5 cm] long, rachis carrying narrowly lanceolate-elliptic to lanceolate, acuminate to acute floral bracts.
