Common Name Holttum's Peristylus [English Botanist in SE Asia Late 1900's]

Found in Thailand and Kedah Malaysia in open places in evergreen and swamp forests at elevations of sealevel to 300 meters as a small to medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with 2 to 4, basal oblong-lanceolate, acute, mucronate leaves grading above into 2 to 5 suberect to spreading, lanceolate, acuminate sterile bracts that blooms in the late spring and summer on a 10 to 14" [25 to 35 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with 2 wide spread, acuminate, acute, loose bracts and similar floral bracts
