Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1200 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect, flexuous, terete, glabrous stem carrying 2 to 3, erect-patent, lanceolate-elliptic, to elliptic, acuminate, undulate margined, glabrous leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an arcuate, secund, laxly 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence with erect, lanceolate, acuminate, glabrous bracts.
