Found in Leyte and Mindanao islands of the Philippines at elevations of 600 to 1500 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a terete stem carrying 3 to 4, elliptic, ovate-lanceolate to lanceolate, acute to subacuminate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, terminal, peduncle to 4 to 5.8" [10 to 14.5 cm] long, 6.8 to 12.8" [17 to 32 cm] long overall, rachis sublaxly few to many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute floral bracts and carrying greenish to greenish white flowers.
