Common Name The Indigo Blue Carrying Phaius

Flower Size 2.4" [6 cm]

Found in Thailand, penninsular Malaysia and Java at elevations of 300 to 1500 meters as a medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with no pseudobulbs, but with close set, square in crossection stems that can lie along the ground before turning upwards and carrying 3 to 4, plicate, gradually narrowing below in to the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, several [7 to 10] flowered inflorecence
