Common Name or Meaning The Mount Klabat Phaius [a Mountain in north Sulawesi Indonesia]
Flower Size 3.6 to 4" [9 to 10 cm]
Found in Sulawesi on the forest floor at elevations of 800 to 1200 meters as a giant sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with pseudobulbs enveloped completely by leaf sheaths and carrying plicate, deciduous leaves that blooms in the later fall on an erect, shorter than the leaves, successively 2 to 3, to 12 flowered inflorescence.
