Common Name The Celebes Phalaenopsis

Flower Size 1.2 to 1.4" [3 to 3.5 cm]

Found in Sulawesi, at elevations of 400 to 600 meters as a miniature sized hot to warm growing epiphyte with dark green, mottled with silver grey leaves that blooms in July and August on a lateral, arching then pendant, 16 to 24" [40 to 60 cm] long, purplish-green, racemose or paniculate, many flowered inflorescence with small bracts and successively opening flowers, starting at the base of the inflorescence

This species should have year-round waterings and full shade.
