Found in the Philippines near strerams in woody slopes of valleys at elevations of sea level to 300 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte that is a natural hybrid between P equestris and P schilleriana and blooms in the spring ona sub-ascending, 32 to 36" [80 to 90 cm] long, branching, many flowered inflorescence and carries somewhat fragrant flowers.
