A creeping mat forming dwarf epiphyte found in Brazil at elevations of 1000 to 1300 meters as a mini-miniature szied, warm to cool growing epiphyte that blooms in the spring on a short, single flowered inflorescence that arises from the leaf axil.

CAUTION According to Luer this species is synomonous with P nummularia, I have left them separate for now
