Found in Thailand at elevations around 1350 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with a probably pendulous rhizome giving rise to rather swollen, cylindrical pseudobulbs set about 1" [2.5 cm] apart and carrying 1 to 3, linear, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a synanthous, arising with the leaves entirely developed, peduncle to 3" [7.5 cm] long rachis curved to straight to zig-zag, 1.52 to 2.72" [3.8 to 6.8 cm] long, pendent, 5.2" [13 cm] long overall, 10 to 18 flowered inflorescence with persisitent, ovate, acute, membraneous, 7 to 9 nerved floral bracts
