Common Name Clemens' Pholidota [English Couple - Collectors on Mt Kinabalu 1900's]

Found in Borneo in mossy lower montane and mossy forests at elevations around 800 to 3400 meters as a small to just medium sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte or terrestrial with slender, somewhat fusiform pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, narrowly elliptic to linear-elliptic, acute, plicate, 5 to 7 nerved leaf that blooms in the fall through summer on a proteranthous, 18 to 25 flowered, 6" [15 cm] long, erect infloresence with ligulate, obtuse to acute, stiffly herbaceous, cauducus, many nerved, salmon-pink floral bracts.
