Common Name Leveille's Pholidota - In China Dan Ye Shi Xian Tao

Found in southern Guizhou, north & west Guangxi China and Vietnam in primary, shady, mossy forests on rocks at elevations of 800 to 1800 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing lithophyte or epiphyte with narrowly ovoid to oblong pseudobulbs carrying a single, narrowly elliptic to elliptic-lanceolate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a 7.2 to 10" [18 to 25 cm] long, pendant, racemose, laxly 12 to 18 flowered inflorescence arising from the apex of a rather young pseudobulb.
