Found in penninsular Malaysia in the Cameron Highlands in montane forests at elevations around 1500 to 1800 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] between each smooth, angled, tapering towards the apex, widest at the base pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, wider in the upper half, shortly acuminate, plicate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a synanthous, thin becoming thicker in the rachis, flexuous, nodding to pendulous, 6 to 8" [15 to 20 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with deciduous, elliptic, apically rounded bracts
