Found in northwest Borneo and the Philippines in lower montane forests at elevations of 300 to 1600 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a cylindrical stem carrying to 8, leathery, linear to oblong, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the winter on an axillary, longer than the leaves, erect, many flowered inflorescence
