Found in Sabah Borneo and the Philippines in lower montane forest at elevations of 1200 to 1300 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying a loose fan of linear, unequally bilobed apically, becoming sharply conduplicate and imbricate towards the sheath base leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on an axillary, erect, densely, long pediceled, many flowered inflorescence
