Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 1200 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying 4 to 8, erect to erect-spreading, narrowly linear, unequally and obtusely bilobed apically, with an apicule interjected, narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms in the early summer on an erect, peduncle to 4" [10 cm] long, rachis elongate to 2 to 2.8" [5 to 7 cm] long, longer than the leaves, subdensely many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, equal to to slightly longer than the ovary floral bracts.

Schlechter states that the flowers are white.
