Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with 6 to 12, erect-spreading to suberect, more or less arcuate, fleshy, linear, acute to distinctly apiculate, attenuate base leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a shortly pedunculate, few bracted, 1/3 to 1/2 as long the leaves, laxly many flowered inflorescence with acuminate, equal to or slightly longer than the flowers floral bracts.

Schlechter states that the flowers are yellowish white.
