Found in New Guinea on trees in hill and lower montane forests at elevations around 800 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with almost no stem carrying 6 to 8, erect-patent, subfalcate-linear, unequally and obtusely bilobed apically, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect-spreading, slim, peduncle, few bracted, shorter than the leaves, 1.6" [4 cm] long, sublaxly many flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, shorter than the pedicel floral bracts.

Schlechter states that the flowers are white .
