Found in western Sumatra without elevational information as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte without pseudobulbs and very short stems carrying 6 to 8, fleshy, linear, obtuse, narrowing slightly at the base leaves that blooms in the spring on a slender, shorter to just about as long as the leaves; the peduncle a little shorter than the rachis, fairly dense, many flowered inflorescence with a few widely spaced, small sheaths and ovate, apiculate, as long as the ovary floral bracts
