Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 200 to 600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying 4 to 8, erect to erect-spreading, falcate-linear, subacute, narrowly subpetiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall, winter and spring on an erect, .8 to 1.6" [2 to 4 cm] long, subdensely many flowered inflorescence with patent, lanceolate, acuminate, equal to to slightly longer than the ovary floral bracts.
Schlechter states that the flowers are whitish green.
