Found in central and southeastern New Caledonia in humid forests and wooded ravines at elevations of 300 to 900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with 3 to 6, equitant, narrowly linear to terete, conduplicate, arched leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on 1 to 2, erect, axillary, 4" [10 cm] long overall, rachis 3" [7.5 cm] long, elongating, laxly many flowered inflorescence
