Found in Taiwan on large trees in moist forests at elevations of 800 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with contiguous, nearly flattened, globose pseudobulbs carrying 1 to occasionally 2, apical, linear to narrowly oblong, slightly contracted basally, articulate, obtuse to acute apically leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a basal, slender, 2 to 4" [5 to 10 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with several sheaths and elliptic floral bracts.
