Common Name or Meaning The Tjibogo Phreatia [An area of southwestern Java]

Found in Java and Sumatra at elevations of 1500 to 2100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with close set, obliquely ovoid but flattened, fleshy pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, narrowly lanceolate, unequally bidentate apically with a tooth in the middle, shiny dark green above, paler beneath leaf that blooms in the summer on a basal, longer than the leaves, 4.8 to 6" [12 to 15 cm] long, a winged rachis, lax, many flowered inflorescence with 6, tubular, acuminate sheaths and lanceolate, subulate floral bracts
