Common Name Yadon's Platanthera - Yadon's Rein Orchid, The Monterey Piperia

Found in western California in the Monterrey area in pine forests, on road banks and on forest edges at elevations around 100 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial that blooms in the late spring through mid summer on an erect, to 20" [50 cm] long, to 100 flowered inflorescence.
