Found in southeastern Siberia, Korea and Xizang province of China in alpine meadows as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a narrowly fusifom, shortly 2 lobed rootstock giving rise to an erect stem provided with 2 tubular, basal sheaths and carrying 2, cauline, elliptic, obtuse, contracted and clasping base leaves that blooms in the late spring on an erect, eduncle provided with a singlelanceolate bract, rachis 2.4" [ 6 cm] long, subdensely 15 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate almost twice as long as the ovary floral bracts.
