Found on Mindano and Negros in the Philippines as a medium sized terrestrial with a thin, erect stem carrying elliptic-lanceolate below, lanceolate above, acuminate, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the later spring through late summer on an erect, terminal, 4.8 to 6" [12 to15 cm] long, laxly more or less 15 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute floral bracts

Similar to Platanthera angustata but differs in the inflated spur
