Found in Java on the forest floor at elevations of 500 to 1000 meters as a medium to large sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with 4 to 6 basal, acuminate, darker green veined leaves that blooms in the fall and early winter on an erect, terminal, 20" [50 cm] long, 30 to 40 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, concave, pale green, longer than the flowers floral bracts and carrying the flowers held well away from the rachis
