Found in eastern Nepal and southern Tibet at elevations around 4000 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a rhizome giving rose to an erect, stem provided with 3 basal sheaths and carrying 3 to 4 leaves, largest at the base, oblong-oval to lanceolate leaves that blooms in the late summer on an erect, 3.2 to 4.8" [8 to 12 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with lineqar-lanceolatelonger than the flowers floral bracts..
