Common Name The Equal Leaved Platycoryne

Found in Zaire and Zambia in wet or dry dambos at elevations around 1350 meters as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with ovoid, tomentose, subterranean tubers giving rise to 6 to 10, in a basal tuft, narrowly lanceolate, 1 to 2, cauline above leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, 4" [10 cm] long, laxly 1 to 7 flowered inflorescence with shorter than the ovary floral rbacts and carrying green to yellow green flowers.
