Found in Para state of Brazil on thin twigs in wet forests at elevations around 270 meters as mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with an erect ramicaul enveloped by imbricate sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic, cuneate below into the subsessile base leaf that blooms in the late spring on an slack, filiform, to .4" [1 cm] long including the peduncle, successively single, 2 flowered inflorescence arising laterally from the ramicaul with thin floral bracts.
