Common Name The Pearl Carrying Platylepsis

Found in northeastern Madagascar as a small sized terrestrial with a stem carrying above the middle, 3 to 4, elliptic-acuminate, compressed rounded basally into the petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect, peduncle puberulous-glandular, rachis 1.2" [3 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with as long as the flowers floral bracts.
CAUTION Hermans 2007 states that most likely this species is P densiflora but as Schlechter's type was destroyed in WWII we may never know for sure.
