Found in Queensland, Australia at elevations up to 1200 meters in rainforests as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with a pendant growth habit and a short stem carrying a few linear, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on an axillary, 3" [7.5 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with fragrant flowers
The unequally bilobed apex of the leaves of this species is diagnostic and readily distinguishes this species even when not in bloom.
