Found on Lord Howe Island Australia among low scrub near the coast at elevations of 50 to 150 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphtye with an erect, basally branched stem carrying numerous, bright green, somewhat fleshy, thickened and deflexed apically leaves that blooms in the spring on a spreading, axillary, [3 to 4 cm] long, 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence
