Found in Rio de Janiero and Parana states of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, ht growing, caespitose epiphyte with ascending ramicauls carrying a single, apical, erect, rigid, subplanate, , light green, very small, fleshy, ,tridentate apically, gradually narrowing below into the thin, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late fall on an erect to ascending, .4" [1 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
