Found in Bahia state of Brazil in the Atlantic Rainforest at low elevations as a miniature sized, hot growing long-repent epiphyte with an ascending, terete, elongate rhizome rhizome giving rise to slightly arcuate, pale green ramicauls carryying a single, apical, erect to erect-patent, rigid, basally conduplicate to subplanate, intense green, oblong, profoundly canaliculate, shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, arising through a minute spathe, capillary, much longer than the leaf, 2.88 to 3.2" [7 to 8 cm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence.
