Found in Parana, Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina states of Brazil at elevations around 800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing, shortly repent to caespitose epiphyte with erect, filiform ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, fleshy, lanceolate, acute, mucronate apically, attenuate below into the base leaf that blooms in the fall, winter and spring on an erect, solitary to fasciculate with 2 to 3 simultaneous,peduncle .08 to .2' [2 to 5 mm] long, rachis .2 to .48" [5 to 12 mm] long, lax, simultaneously 3, few flowered inflorescence with longer than the ovary floral bracts.
