Common Name The Short Inflorescence Pleurothallis
Flower Size .2" [5 mm]
Found in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia in tropical wet forests at elevations of 300 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing, epiphyte with a short ramicaul enveloped basally by a tubular sheath and carrying a single, apical, oval, rounded leaf that gradually tapers into the petiole and blooms occasionally throughout the year on a fascile of several, successive single flowers held at mid-leaf and having a tubular bract below the middle and tubular acuminate floral bracts.
