Found in Sao Paulo state of Brazil at eleavtions around 510 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing, caespitose epiphyte with very short ramicaul carrying a single, apical, elliptic to narrrowly elliptic, acute and tridenticulate apically, attenuate and canaliculate, below into the pseudopetiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring on a short, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence
