Common Name Catafesta's Pleurothallis [Brazilian Orchid Enthusiast and Discoverer of the species current]

Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in Espirito Santo state of Brazil near Santa Leopodiana as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing, caespitose epiphyte with slender, erect, ramicauls enveloped by a single tubular sheath and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical-obovate, imperceptably tridentate, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, from near the apex of the ramicaul, peduncle 2" [5 cm] long, rachis .4" [1 cm] long, successively single few flowered inflorescence.

Similar to P cordilabia but differs in the internally, densely long-pilose and nerved sepals, the dorsal is different and unequal in size than the laterals. The margins are revolute apically, the petals are very verrucose and the triangular lip is unguiculate and distinctly narrower.
